Is every itinerary personalized?
Yes. Every journey begins with a private questionnaire and consultation. Your itinerary is individually researched around your destination, interests, preferences, pace, travel party and any plans you already have in place. We do not use generic itinerary templates.
What does the planning fee cover?
Your Soverra fee covers the planning service: your questionnaire, private consultation, destination research, personalized day-by-day itinerary, recommendations, one round of revisions and final pre-trip Q&A. The cost of hotels, flights, restaurants, experiences, transportation and travel insurance is separate and paid directly by you.
When will I receive my first draft?
Your first draft is delivered within one week of your introductory consultation, provided your onboarding questionnaire has been completed.
How far in advance should I start planning?
For most journeys, beginning about eight to ten weeks before departure gives you comfortable time to review the itinerary, make your included revision and secure the stays, dining and experiences you prefer. For highly seasonal destinations or peak travel periods, earlier is better.
Can I request changes?
Yes. Every Concierge Plan includes one thoughtful round of revisions as well as a final pre-trip Q&A, so you have an opportunity to refine the itinerary after seeing the complete journey come together.
What if I've already booked part of my trip?
That's completely fine. Existing accommodations, flights, transportation, dining reservations and experiences can be incorporated into your itinerary. We plan around what is already fixed rather than asking you to start over.
Does Soverra make reservations or bookings?
Soverra Concierge is an itinerary planning and recommendation service. Reservations, transportation and travel purchases are completed directly by the traveler unless otherwise arranged. This keeps you in control of your bookings, loyalty programs and travel spend.
Do you book or arrange flights?
We do not ticket flights as part of the standard Concierge service. We can consider your existing flight schedule when shaping the itinerary and recommend sensible routing or timing where it affects the flow of the trip, but flights are booked directly by you.
Can Soverra plan multi-city or multi-country trips?
Yes. Multi-stop journeys can be planned within the package that matches the length and complexity of your trip. Extended, multi-country or especially complex journeys may be better suited to a custom proposal so there is enough planning scope for the transitions and moving pieces.
Is Soverra only for couples?
No. The planning process can be shaped around solo travelers, couples, families or private travel parties. The important part is telling us who is traveling, what matters to each person and the pace you want the journey to have.
Can dietary preferences, mobility needs or accessibility requirements be considered?
Yes. Share those needs in your questionnaire and consultation so they can inform the recommendations and pacing of the itinerary. Because accessibility and dietary accommodations can change, travelers should always confirm specific requirements directly with the hotel, restaurant, tour or transportation provider before booking.
What do “travel insurance recommendations” include?
We can point you toward travel insurance options and coverage types that may be worth considering for your journey. Any recommendation is for general informational purposes; policy eligibility, benefits, exclusions and purchase decisions should be reviewed directly with the insurance provider before you buy.
What if I know where I'm going but don't know exactly what I want to do?
That's a great place to start. You do not need to arrive with a finished wish list. Your questionnaire and consultation help us understand the feeling, pace and interests you want from the trip, then we narrow the possibilities into recommendations that belong together.
What if my journey is longer than 15 days?
Extended, multi-city, multi-country and more complex journeys can be planned through a custom proposal built around the scope of your trip.
Do I have to follow the itinerary exactly?
Not at all. Your itinerary is designed to give the journey shape, not to turn your vacation into a schedule you have to obey. Use it as your trusted framework, then leave room to linger, change your mind or follow an unexpected discovery.
Can I use hotel points, airline miles or loyalty status?
Yes. Because you complete travel purchases directly, you remain in control of loyalty programs, points, miles and preferred booking channels. Share any loyalty priorities during your consultation so they can be considered when relevant to the itinerary.
What kinds of trips are the best fit for Soverra?
Soverra is especially well suited to independent leisure trips where the quality of the stay, dining, neighborhoods, culture and day-to-day flow matter. That includes city escapes, romantic trips, longer vacations and multi-stop journeys that benefit from thoughtful research and structure.
